This time of year, for some, can be the most wonderful time of year…

For some it can be the loneliest time…

For some it can be a time for just getting through…

For some it can be a time of caring and sharing…

For some it can be a time of remembering times past…

For some it can be a time for creating the future…

For some it can be a time for connecting with family…

For some it can be a time for connecting with friends…

For some it can be a time to feel even more alone…

For some it can a time for getting more work done…

For some it can be a time for relaxing…

For some it can be a time for getting overtime…

For some it can be a time for getting those chores around the house done…

For some it can be a time for reliving the good times…

For some it can be a time for reliving the bad times…

This time of year can bring out the best and the worst, and it depends on us and how we choose to feel.

Everything in life happens for a reason, whether we understand it at the time or not…

Everything happened in our lives for a reason. 

It happened so we could learn from it, grow from it and then move on from it…

Not so that we can carry it into our today, and our tomorrow, and keep reliving the things that didn’t work…

Not so that we can keep torturing ourselves with the pain and the hurt…

Not so that we can stay stuck…

Not so that it can ruin this time of year for us….

But, it’s our choice in how we want to feel…

We know how to choose to feel better…

We know how to look for lots of little things to feel good about…

We know how to start the habit of feeling good…
